Maredsous Blonde 6

  • SRM Color: 6
  • Brewer: Duvel
  • Brewer's Description: Maredsous 6 is a delectable Belgian Blond with light fruitiness, soft malting and a dry gently hopped finish. Brewed following Benedictine tradition under the supervision of the Abbaye de Maredsous, this fine ale has been bottle fermented and aged for 2 months
  • Russ' rating: 9 of 10
  • With the brew: Sharp Cheese
  • Comments: This Belgian Beer was a wonderful surprise! The head was lighter than  expected with a larger bubble (0.5mm - 0.7mm), and the bouquet was just as light. The flavor and color much lighter than most of the Abbey Ales I have had, but not at all disappointing. There was a sweet hint of Malt you can taste as you take your first sip and the dry finish makes it very refreshing. Less intense than most Abbey Ales, this one would appeal to a wide range of Beer drinkers, and may even be a good starter into the world of fine Brews.

Do you agree? Do you think I completely missed on this one? Feel free to leave a comment below, give me a +1, or "Like" my post!
