  • SRM Color: 2
  • Brewer: Anheuser Busch
  • Brewer's Description:  An American-style lager, was introduced in 1876 when company founder Adolphus Busch set out to create the United States’ first truly national beer brand – brewed to be universally popular and transcend regional tastes. Each batch of Budweiser follows the same family recipe used by five generations of Busch family brewmasters.
  • Russ' Rating: 3/10
  • With the Brew: Salty Snacks.
  • Comments: Technically Budweiser has all of the things that the best beers in the world have. It is brewed from Water, Hops, Malt, Yeast, and Grain to create a liquid beverage capable of delivering Ethanol into your blood stream. It is Beer. But it lacks a sense of adventure that I look for in a favored brew. I can not taste the malt. I can not feel the spicy hops pop on my taste buds. It meets the minimum requirements to be defined as Beer, but there is absolutely nothing about it that makes me crave it above any other. In short it's greatest asset is commonality.
Do you agree? Do you think I completely missed on this one? Feel free to leave a comment below, give me a +1, or "Like" my post!
