Bob's '47 Oktoberfest

  • SRM Color : 13
  • Brewer: Boulevard Brewing Co.
  • Brewer's Description: Bob’s ’47 Oktoberfest is a medium-bodied, dark amber brew with a malty flavor and well-balanced hop character. With this Munich-style lager we salute our friend Bob Werkowitch, Master Brewer and graduate of the U.S. Brewer’s Academy, 1947
  • Russ' rating: 8 of 10
  • With the brew: The Oktoberfest Burger at Red Robin
  • Comments: This Beer has a bigger flavor than the short name would imply. The pour gives you a smaller head with a medium bubble size (0.5mm - 0.7mm) and a richly colored,  deep amber body. The bouquet is strong and almost fruity. The flavor is huge! It's a rich Malty brew, with a Hoppy tone that balances the taste and clears the palate. The Beer's only down side is that it is seasonal and not available all year round.
